Serve the Servants is Doug Humphrey’s take on how a Blade Runner prequel might go, mainly centered
around the Nexus 6 mutiny on an off-world colony that was described in the opening text of the movie.
Like Alternate Days, it uses a combination of the characters from Blade Runner as well as some new ones.
But that's pretty much where the similarities end. Alternate Days was a detective story that centers around a young
cop being ordered to solve an old crime; Serve the Servants is more of a observation of a world that needed
people so badly they decided to mass-produce them in factories, and then made them illegal afterwards.
